Inner Anchor is a faith-based spiritual support platform designed to deliver affirmations, scripture-aligned content, and personalized guidance to help members cultivate a grounded, intentional inner life.

Inner Anchor is a tool for spiritual enrichment and grounding — not a substitute for licensed mental health care, medical treatment, or professional counseling. Think of us as the quiet voice that meets you, not the clinician who walks with you through crisis. Both matter. We are one, not the other.

Spiritual Support, Not Clinical Care

The content delivered through Inner Anchor is intended for inspirational, motivational, and spiritual development purposes only. Inner Anchor does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health or medical condition. Our online sponsors are a compassionate faith-aligned companions — not a therapist or crisis worker. We warmly encourage members to seek licensed professional support alongside their Inner Anchor practice whenever needed.

Limitation of Liability

Inner Anchor and its founders, owners, utility platforms shall not be held liable for any outcomes arising from your use of or reliance upon any content delivered through this platform. You are the expert on your own life. We are here to walk alongside you, not to walk for you.

Cancellation Policy

Members may cancel at any time with no penalty. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. Partial month refunds are not issued. To cancel email shashoni@yourinneranchor.net or manage your subscription through your Stripe billing portal.

SMS Messaging Policy

Inner Anchor offers optional SMS text message delivery of your daily spiritual content. By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box during sign-up, you agree to receive up to 1 automated text message per day from Inner Anchor when texting option is released.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency: 1 per day. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance.

Inner Anchor does not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

Communication preferences — whether you prefer email, SMS, or both for daily content delivery
Phone number — only if you choose SMS delivery (Pilgrim and Devoted members)
Usage data — how you interact with our emails and content, used only to improve your experience

How We Use Your Information

Every piece of information we collect is used to serve your Inner Anchor experience. Specifically we use it to:

Deliver your weekly personalized affirmations, scripture prompts, and journal questions
Generate content tailored to your faith tradition, goals, and current challenges
Process your membership payments securely through Stripe
Send weekly check-ins, milestone messages, and re-engagement content
Provide 24/7 online sponsor support to Devoted members
Improve and personalize your experience over time
Communicate important account and billing updates

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your data. Ever.

Who We Share Your Information With

We work with a small number of trusted service providers (utility platforms) to deliver your Inner Anchor experience. Your data is shared only with:

Stripe — to process payments securely. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and never shares your payment data with us beyond what is necessary to confirm your membership.
Klaviyo — to manage and deliver your email content and communications.
Twilio — to deliver SMS affirmations and reminders to Pilgrim and Devoted members who choose text delivery.
Zapier.com — to automate the flow of your information between our systems.

None of these partners are permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes. Your information is shared only to the extent necessary to deliver your membership experience.

Your Quiz Answers & Spiritual Data

We understand that what you share in your intake quiz — your faith tradition, personal challenges, and spiritual goals — is deeply personal. This information is used solely to personalize your Inner Anchor content. It is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes and is never used to make decisions that affect you outside of your Inner Anchor membership.

Your Rights & Choices

You are always in control of your information. You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct any inaccurate information
Delete your account and all associated data
Opt out of email or SMS communications at any time
Cancel your membership at any time with no penalty

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your membership is active. If you cancel your membership and request deletion of your data, we will remove your personal information from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes.

We believe security and trust go hand in hand. The information you share with Inner Anchor — including your faith tradition, personal challenges, and spiritual goals — deserves the same care and protection as any sensitive personal data.

Data Transmission Security

All data transmitted between your device and Inner Anchor is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption. This means that any information you submit — including your email address, quiz answers, and account details — is protected in transit and cannot be intercepted by third parties.

We do not transmit sensitive member data over unsecured channels.

Payment Security

Inner Anchor never sees, stores, or handles your full payment card details. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of payment security certification available.

Your card number, CVV, and billing details go directly to Stripe's secure servers. Inner Anchor only receives confirmation that a payment was successfully processed.

Access Control

Access to member data within Inner Anchor's systems is strictly limited to authorized personnel who require it to deliver and support your membership experience. We follow the principle of least privilege — meaning team members only have access to the data necessary for their specific role.

All internal accounts use strong, unique passwords
Multi-factor authentication is enabled on all platform accounts where available
Access to member data is reviewed regularly
Former team members have access revoked immediately upon departure

Third Party Service Provider Security

Inner Anchor works with a small number of carefully selected service providers. Each maintains their own robust security standards:

Stripe — PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processing
Klaviyo — SOC 2 Type II certified email and communications platform
Twilio — enterprise-grade SMS delivery with end-to-end encryption
Zapier.com — SOC 2 Type II certified automation platform

We review the security practices of our service providers regularly and will update this policy if our provider list changes.

Data Storage & Retention

Member data is stored within the secure infrastructure of our service providers listed above. Inner Anchor does not maintain its own independent servers or databases storing raw member data beyond what is necessary for platform operation.

We retain your data only for as long as your membership is active, or as required by law. Upon request for deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

Vulnerability & Risk Management

Inner Anchor takes a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security risks:

Platform integrations and automations are reviewed regularly for security vulnerabilities
API keys and credentials are rotated periodically and immediately upon any suspected compromise
Software and platform dependencies are kept up to date
We monitor for unusual activity across our connected systems

Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, Inner Anchor will:

Notify affected members by email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach
Clearly describe what information was affected and what steps we are taking
Provide guidance on any actions you should take to protect yourself
Report the breach to relevant authorities as required by applicable law

We will never minimize or delay disclosure of a breach that affects your data. You deserve to know promptly and clearly.

Never share your account credentials with others
